Lemonade Abbot Kinney just opened in Venice as the third installment of the Lemonade restaurants, joining the West Hollywood and Downtown locations. The concept marries your nostalgic lemonade stand with cafeteria style serving and eating - except the difference is, a kid’s grubby fingers didn’t mix bugs into the recipe and the food ingredients served are more gourmet than elementary school lunch hour. At Lemonade, the menu changes according to what’s freshest on the market. Grab a tray and slide your way through cold and hot salad, sandwiches, stews, and braises, like Lamb tagine (sure beats unidentified meat loaf). And of course, the restaurant serves up four distinct concoctions of Lemonade every day, like rosemary watermelon or peach ginger.
