Lobster Fest for All

Our sunny corner is home to the world’s largest lobster fest. The Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival has outdone itself this year slamming together a truly well-balanced batch of great local bands and completely bizarre, freaky, tribute bands. The English Beat, Gram Rabbit, Happy Hollows, Henry Clay People, Dios, Dazzler, and Oliver Future on one side. On the other side, Shorty’s Kiss Band and “the world debut, the first time on stage together” for Mini-Michael Jackson & Tina Turner, featuring little people impersonating big stars. Meanwhile pirates will entice you with lobsters and dogs dressed up as lobsters participating in the Pet Parade will vie for your scraps.

GetWize: The Port of Los Angeles Lobster Fest takes place September 17, 18, and 19. Admission costs $9 for adults and children are free.
