The folks behind Beretta and Starbelly are beefing up the Mission once more with their latest endeavor, an Argentinean steakhouse named Lolinda. Combining Latin flavors with Californian cuisine, the new restaurant is now open for business in the old Medjool space.

Offering a menu suitable for any price range, diners can choose from a range of cheaper small plates like grilled baby octopus and pan seared sweetbreads for under $11. Upgrade to larger "platos" for more filling options such as saffron-braised short ribs or fulfill all your carnivorous needs with a lengthy list of meats that include the ultimate sampler platter - chorizo, morcilla (blood sausage), flank, shortribs, potatoes and peppers. Wash it all down with the bar's custom cocktail menu curated by Beretta and Death & Co. alum, Lane Ford.

While reservations are recommended, Lolinda will be keeping half of the restaurant available for walk-ins. Cozy up in one of the downstairs booths with a larger group or make your way to the mezzanine bar for one of those classy cocktails. And since this is the old Medjool space, the coveted rooftop patio is set to reopen within the next few months. Plan accordingly.
