Or, go anti-turntable and get funky to the live sounds of Con Funk Shun, Midnight Star, Morris Day, S.O.S. Band, and Zapp at the Greek Theater’s Funk Fest. If you envision a more tame, laidback way to spend the weekend, the Topanga Film Festival will be going on between August 6th and 9th, featuring plenty of movie watching under the starry sky.
