LA Film Festival 2009 - 6/18/09 - 6/28/09
What better place to see a film festival than Hollywood? Just outside, in Westwood Village. The LA Film Festival hosts more than 80,000 people with over 100 feature films, including indies, star-studded premieres, panels and seminars and outdoor screenings. Electric Daisy Carnival - 6/26 - 6/27
The massive festival known as Electric Daisy Carnival is back in 2009 for another installment of musical mayhem. The countdown until June 26th and 27th is officially over and we hope that you had the chance to witness some of the biggest names in dance music take to the 6 stages at LA Memorial Coliseum. Hard Summer 2009 - 8/08/09
Hard Summer is the biggest electronic music summer event in Los Angeles. This year they will pack 3 stages with a genre-bending line-up, featuring performances by Underworld, Chromeo, Crookers, Crystal Castles and many more. Sunset Strip Music Festival - 9/10/09 - 9/12/09
In it's second year, the Sunset Strip Music Festival will feature six music venues each with their own diverse music lineups. This year the event will take place on September 10-12 and like last year it will include a street festival that will shut down Sunset between Doheny Drive to San Vicente Boulevard on Saturday, Sept. 12, from 2 – 9 p.m. Mark your traffic calendars because this is the first time Sunset will be shut down for a music event, allowing for more outdoor stages and more reasons to party on the strip. Detour Music Festival 2009 - Early October
The LA Weekly Detour Festival takes over Los Angeles, literally. The four festival stages form a tight-knit square blockade around city hall. This year headliners include The Mars Volta, Koss Silent Disco, Gun N' Bombs and The Bloody Beetroots. With a little of something for everyone, The Detour Festival brings madness to the streets of LA.

Eagle Rock Music Festival 2009 – Early October
This is a free music festival that takes place in the streets of North East Los Angeles County, Eagle Rock. Hard Haunted Mansion 2009 - 10/31/09
Hard Haunted Mansion is Hard's Halloween music festival. Last year's acts included Justice, SoulWax and Simian Mobile Disco. This year it's going to be even bigger. If you're into electronic music, this is a another no-brainer. We're anticipating this one just as much as you, so sign up to stay on top of it.

Monster Massive 2009 - 10/31/09
There are several Halloween parties, but none with quite as much haunted debauchery as Monster Massive. Celebrating its 12th year, the festival is packed with chart topping headliners such as Armin Van Buuren, Felix Da Housecat, James Zabiela, and many more. This year is sure to bring over 60,000 costumed ghouls full of eletronica love and endless energy. The madness will be held at

Santa Monica Halloween - 10/31/09
Santa Monica is THE place to be on Halloween if you live in LA. In fact, it's THE place to be if you don't live in LA. With over hundreds of thousands of Halloween-ers last year, it's going to be an epic 2009. Wear comfortable shoes and bring your I.D. because alcohol companies set up tents up and down Santa Monica Blvd, while you rock past tons of bands performing on "street stages."

SantaCon 2009 - Early December
Everyone knows about their city's Christmas party, but as with most things, LA takes it to the next level. Thousands of people cram the streets of downtown LA (so nothing new), but this time they're rocking their best Santa get-ups. Whether you're promoting a consumer cause or just want to get your drink on, SantaCon is free and worth the experience.

Giant Maximus 2009 - 12/31/09
Giant Maximus claims to be the biggest NYE 21+ celebration, and it just might be. It's a massively huge event thrown on 7 reserved acres of concrete in the middle of downtown LA.
