Love Fest 2008 is coming San Francisco! It's officially summer and that means it's also officially time to start looking forward to the biggest dance music event of the year, SF's LoveFest. Last year over 85,000 people showed up to the parade and party that took over Market Street and the downtown Civic Center area. This year, the promoters of the event promise bigger and better... what else?

The date for this years event is 10/4 and just like the past 2 years the parade will snake through downtown on Market Street in San Francisco bumping beats of all electronica variety on it's way to the Civic Center plaza. Now in it's 4th year, LoveFest has become the premiere dance event in the country with people coming in from all around the country to take part. The biggest names in DJ music will be on hand and the vibe will truly be, well... lovely.

Spundae and Skills, 2 of SF's biggest promotors, have confirmed that they will again being throwing the official after party and have announced the first major headliner of the event to be the world's #1 dj, Armin Van Buuren. Expect a massive full line up to be announced soon as well as details about the dozens of other events taking place over the 4 days of madness.
