Lucent Lamour
Get Lovestruck At Lucent L’amour February 13th

The Lucent L'amour Festival is back for its 5th year February 13th and is looking to be bigger and better than ever before. With headliners Bassnectar, N.A.S.A., Stanton Warriors, Yard Dogs Road Show, Beats Antique, Ana Sia, Lazer Sword, Lynx & Janover and Patricio spread over two stages, the music alone promises to be spectacular. But Lucent L'amour is far from just a dance music festival. The event is like a multi-sensory carnival or circus, embracing the performance, architectural and visual arts as passionately as it does music and dance. And what better way to celebrate Valentine's Day than with love, expression, art and mayhem uniting for one phenomenal night?

The Do LaB, famous for their events like Lightning in a Bottle and their festival performances at Coachella, are known for their creative and interactive events that blend music, art, fashion and social consciousness. The group will once again provide the celebrated one-of-a-kind interactive production, lighting, and creative art design that Lucent L'amour is known for. Joining them will be the costumed acrobats, aerial artists, stilt walkers, fire dancers, tribal belly dancers, spoken word poets, clowns, contortionists, elves, bearded lady, snake charmer, jugglers, and sword swallower that have become synonymous with the full-production performance-art troupe known as Lucent Dossier Vaudeville Cirque.

Due to increasing popularity, this years' festival will expand to take over the inside and outside of the Shrine Expo Center to accommodate over 5,000 love-stricken patrons, making this years' event larger than ever before. With 2 stages of live music, burlesque and vaudeville performances, live art, interactive installations, street art and a cutting-edge art gallery, this isn't just a music festival: it's a full-blown sensory experience.

Show goes from 7:00pm-4:00am on Saturday, Feb. 13th, and is 18+. The Shrine Expo Hall at USC is located at 700 West 32nd St. Los Angeles, Ca 90007. Last year Adam Freeland and Z-Trip headlined the festival. If you missed it, check out the video.

GetWize: Tickets are currently running for $65, but for $125 you can purchase the "Go Big Pass" (if you're 21+) and get access to the private bar and lounge on the balcony for the best views of the show. For more information, or to purchase tickets, check out the Lucent L'amour website.
