Luxor Hotel Renovation - The Sphinx Gets A Facelift

Circa 1995 the Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas was adrift with Egyptian motifs complete with a make-shift Nile river ride encircling the casino. River rides are no more as this iconic Vegas structure has undergone a massive face-lift giving it a new luxurious and upscale vibe.

Fine dining choices at the Luxor range from the hotel’s fun and modern twist on Mexican at T&T (Tacos & Tequila) to taking a trip into a 19th century French bordello at CatHouse. CatHouse features European, Asian and American flavors and vignette performers donning CatHouse’s very own line of lingerie.

For the entertainment aficionado the Luxor now hosts Criss Angel’s Believe, a 90 minute cirque du soliel production that promises to engage the mind in a haunting magical journey of illusions. This show will make you into a Believer; we bet Holly Madison is a fan and you will be too. Buy tickets to see Criss Angel’s Believe @ The Luxor.

After RA nightclub’s reign as one of the hottest clubs in the city ended, the Luxor replaced it with LAX-LV. Catering to sophisticated club-goers, A-listers and DJ-chasers alike, LAX-LV is a destination of choice for discriminating Vegas jetsetters. The club’s intimate setting, insane DJ lineup and posh décor will call you back.

If the club isn’t really your scene or you’d like to taste a specialty cocktail before you drown in vodka-soda, Noir Bar might be more your style. This ultra-exclusive nightspot resembles a modern speakeasy: secret passageway and elite guest-list included.

With multiple pools, upgraded rooms, fierce views of the strip at night and Nurture spa (read: eucalyptus steam room), the Luxor has outdone itself. Book online for best Luxor rates and you’ll feel like Cleopatra or King Tut 2.0.
