Shooting stuff is always fun, but getting to a firing range can be a total hassle and, let’s be honest, those places are always pretty boring. White walls, sterile lighting, hillbillies smoking cigs and chewing tobacco in the lobby. Who needs it? Don’t you wish you could find a place to shoot off AK 47’s, Uzis, assault rifles, and vintage WWII era firearms while chilling in a plush ultra lounge with a baddass model/gun aficionado? Well you’ll be able to soon at Machine Guns Vegas.
Opening in Vegas in early 2012, Machine Guns Vegas will be offering the “plush, high-energy appeal of a Las Vegas ultra lounge” with the “the thrill of a high-tech firearms experience.”
Located just off the Las Vegas Strip, the 10,000-square-foot facility will feature 16 shooting lanes as well as a “Gun Lounge,” where VIP groups can relax and enjoy “two completely private firing lanes, a private celebrity waiting lounge with plush furniture, large plasma TVs, an iMac, complimentary refreshments and a separate entrance.” Damn!
Perhaps the best part of this whole deal, if you happen to be a dude, is the fact that MGV’s spokeswoman and shoot host, Jeannie Duffy, also happens to be a model as well as a former soldier in the US Air Force. Now ain’t that America?
Machine Guns Vegas is located at 3501 Aldebaran Avenue, and will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. For more information, visit machinegunsvegas.com.
