Time to get the heck out of Dodge and into the wild western frontier of sound and psychedelics at Manimal Fest. Put together by record label Manimal Vinyl, the two day event takes over Pappy and Harriet’s in desert home away from home Joshua Tree, bringing a few hundred bohemian clad hippie-sters along with it. This year’s line-up includes Chairlift, Hecuba, Fool’s Gold, Rainbow Arabia, Ed Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, We Are The World, Warpaint, Rio En Medio, Amanda Jo Williams, He’s My Brother She’s My Sister, Polyamorous Affair, Laco$te, and so much more danceable otherworldly magick.

Get Wize: Manimal Fest takes place October 3-4 at Pappy & Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace. Tickets cost $30 per day or $50 for the weekend.
