The O Hotel is calling itself the first urban boutique establishment in downtown LA. The exact definition of that is still unclear, but it is a historic 1920s building that was completely refurbished in September 2007. It was also awarded the prestigious “Best New Lobby” award at the 2008 International Restaurant and Hotel Awards. The design of the hotel is a mix of modern furniture, exotic flowers, and elegant flair.

O Hotel is located in the heart of the city's Financial District, a few blocks from Staples Center and the Los Angeles Convention Center. It is also 17 miles from Los Angeles International Airport and approximately 15 miles from the Burbank Airport. Also nearby are the Kodak Theatre, Hollywood Walk of Fame, Sunset Strip, Pantages Theatre, NoHo Arts District, and Santa Monica Ocean Front Walk.

The O has a Mediterranean Tapas restaurant which has received rave reviews from some of the countries top food critics. If you’re not interested in food you can explore the 2nd story mezzanine lounge and relax with a house cocktail or a specialty martini expertly mixed from the O Bar as you overlook the award winning lobby.
