The Official Stereolab Grand Opening is Here

Following a rocking September in Singapore, October is showing no signs of slowing down. A few weeks after its soft opening, The Official Stereolab Opening Party will be thrown Friday, October 16th. Since opening its doors a few weeks ago, the latest club in Singapore has had superstar DJs such as Danny Krivit, Dennis Ferrer, Mark Doyle, Derrick May and Jean Claude Ades hit its decks. During the SingTel Formula One race in September, Stereolab was picked as the first official F1 Lounge in the world, playing host to a slew of international celebrities and icons such as Bernie Ecclestone, Richard Branson and many F1 drivers. We can't wait to see what this new club has to offer.

Stereolab is every music lover's dream come true, featuring the most up-to-date technology from all corners of the world. The 300 person venue boasts a custom-designed sound system by Craig ‘Shorty’ Bernebeau (of the award-winning Systems by Shorty) which was hand-built and then brought over from New York City. The fully analog high-fidelity audiophile system features clear and realistic sound powered by custom components, including vacuum tube amplifiers. This ensures that every song can be heard clearly despite the loud volume, and will still allow patrons to talk without yelling. The best part is that the annoying ringing in your ear after visits to most nightclubs will be virtually non-existent.

After some upgrades and final modifications, the management is finally ready to showcase the completed Stereolab to the world. Now the club is ready to step up to the plate and raise the bar on Singapore's nightlife. To kick off the official opening party, resident DJ's Brendon P, Stephen Day, Todd Omotani, Ramesh K, Godwin and Edward will be deploying their skills on the turntables. They will be focusing on the spectrums of House music and all its variants. We can't wait to hear the difference.

GetWize: In the coming weeks, Stereolab has a great line up of international talent such as Louie Vega, David Morales, Tony Humphries, Frankie Knuckles, Wally Lopez, Funk D'Void, Scarlett Etienne and more.
