Ooh La L.A. Gets Frenchy

For all those that couldn’t make the hop across the pond this summer, don’t be distressed. September 23rd -25th, the OohlaL.A. Festival is shipping all the French music you missed to the heart of Hollywood. The festival brings together some of France’s best exports including Sébastien Tellier, Gonzales, Cocoon, Emilie Simon, The Dø, Brodinski, The Shoes, Jamaica aka Poney Poney and Hollywood, Mon Amour. France is obviously the common thread between all of these artists, but that just might be where the similarities end. A huge span of the musical spectrum will be represented; from the folksy duets of Cocoon to the dance remixes of The Shoes, the event will undoubtedly have something for everyone, from the Édith Piaf fans to Daft Punk faithful.

GetWize: The OohlaL.A. Festival takes place September 23, 24, and 25. All concerts will be held at The Music Box at Henry Fonda Theater, 6126 Hollywood Blvd. Tickets run $25/evening or $65 for a 3-day pass. More information can be found at oohlalafestival.com.
