By now, everyone knows about the music lineup that will be rocking the stages day and night of Outside Lands, but what about the hour you have to kill between Manu Chao and Radiohead? Along with the great musical acts, Outside Lands will be providing other amazing attractions that can only happen right here in SF. Here’s the complete Non-Music Guide to Outside Lands.

Crowdfire
Bringing an entirely new meaning to Web 2.0, Outside Lands, Federated Media and Microsoft have collaborated to create one of the most amazing acts of crowdsourced digital media creation ever seen. Fans will be able to upload images, videos, text and audio from their cell phones to Crowdfire and watch as the largest collaboration of amateur media is assembled. All user created content will be viewable at Crowdfire.net and onsite at the Outside Lands Pavilion. To top it all off, users can vote on their favorites and prizes will be awarded to users who submit the best content.

Eco Lands
With a large focus on renewable energy and conservation, Outside Lands will prove to be one of the greenest festivals yet. Solar energy will provide the power for the stages, saving 3000 pounds of CO2 per day from being emitted into the atmosphere. Other attractions include a Passport Program which will allow fans to earn stamps through committing eco-friendly acts, a Farmer’s Market featuring local organic food and a Carbon Footprint Calculator. Winehaven
Since California has such a rich heritage in wine, it only makes sense to have an entire attraction dedicated to it. The Winehaven will feature twenty small California wineries from all around the state. From coastal Pinot Noir to Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Winehaven provides fans with a chance to taste some great regional wines and talk to the people who make them.

A Taste of the Bay Area
Along with fine wines, the Bay Area is also known for its cuisine. A number of local restaurants are featured providing organically grown and carefully prepared menu items. With restaurants like Asqew Grill, Hog Island Oysters, and Gordo Taqueria, there’s definitely something to please every kind of taste out there. Other Attractions and Activities
Outside Lands provides a truly unique festival experience for everyone attending. Even all six stages will be decorated with a different theme by six different artists, most of them from California. Other attractions include batting and pitching cages, a Virgin Megastore, a Guitar Hero tent (where a video of you will be recorded and placed on Crowdfire), an Artdome where you can remix songs by artists playing, and countless others.

So whether you’re going for the music, food, wine, art, shopping, or one of the many random and crazy attractions, Outside Lands is sure to be more entertaining than two girls at the same time (or guys if that’s your thing).
