The vacant space that once was Jack Falstaff made a statement of the times every time I walked by 2nd and Brannan. Hopefully the newly renovated Ozone Thai restaurant that opens today in its place is a sign of better days ahead. Just seeing the space being used again gets two stars, add another for a full bar, and another for the hip sheik decor, and another for the spicy salmon red curry I inhaled. Ozone Thai is another installation by the same owners of the popular Polk Street location. The same basic Thai fusion menu at the SOMA local, hopefully the late night delivery too.
