East Village, the neighborhood surrounding PETCO Park, is home to countless options for partying, Padres style. Located at the edge of the Gaslamp Quarter, the options for a beer, brunch, or whatever you crave don’t end with the final score. From relaxed bars to hot local DJ’s, most of the many surrounding bars and resturants offer pre-game and post-game specials. On the weekdays, take advantage of the Happy Hour specials that bars that run from 4-7 p.m., just in time to catch the first pitch at 7:05 p.m. Game on!

Proper Gastro Pub

Located above PETCO Park, Proper Gastro Pub offers a change of scenery for anyone hoping to catch the game. The pub overlooks the grassy hill behind centerfield, offering an ideal spot to catch Friday's post-game fireworks. With a view into the stadium, the patio is always packed at least two hours before games for their daily Happy Hour specials, Padre fan drink deals (Happy Hour prices two hours before any Padres game.) No wonder some even stay for the entire game.

One of the newest locations close to the park, Bootlegger was designed to look like a cozy barn fused with a 1920’s speakeasy. The result? Bubs @ the Ballpark
