Panam is the most recent restaurant/bar/lounge addition to the Castro, serving French fusion cuisine at prices that can’t be beat. This chic spot was created by executive chef, Laurent Guillaume and co-owner Mickael Azoulay. They are the dynamic duo that also brought you Chouquet’s in Pacific Heights, and Blush! Wine Bar.

Panam has a quaint and chic ambiance and is perfect for those looking to indulge themselves in exquisite food and drinks without spending a fortune on dinner. If an elegant dinner isn’t quite what you have in mind, go to the upstairs lounge and enjoy appetizers, cocktails, desserts and wine. On weekends a mouth-watering brunch is available from 10am-4pm.

You would never know by the impeccable food and outstanding presentation that most dishes run well under $20 at Panam. Critics are raving about the Frog Legs Persillade, Duck Ravioli and Smoked Trout Salad.
