Las Vegas has always been known as THE place for doing things over the top so when The N9NE Group, one of Las Vegas's most influential promotional organizations, announced last summer that they were bringing in the worlds most famous DJ, Paul Oakenfold, to do a full year residency at it's signature Rain Nightclub in the Palms it seemed oddly logical. The party, dubbed Perfecto Las Vegas, started commanding Saturday nights last August at the 25,000 sq. ft. club and has never looked back.

In case you don't know, a residency for a DJ is a commitment to play a certain amount of dates in a given block of time. For Oakenfold, this residency is for 26 dates over the course of a full year. That's a big commitment for the DJ who holds the guiness world record for being the DJ with the most miles travelled ever. Oakenfold has been on the DJ circuit arguably longer than any other DJ and is credited for being one of the pioneers of dance music as we know it today. This marks the first ever residency in the US for him and Rain is the perfect stage for it.

The N9NE Group’s dedication to diversifying the types of music played at its venues was a key factor in Oakenfold’s decision to sign on as Resident DJ of Rain Nightclub. “There is nowhere in America other than Las Vegas that I would want to be a resident DJ,” Oakenfold says. “It is the world’s oyster, and the Perfecto nights at Rain Nightclub are going to take clubbing to a whole new level.”

When Oakenfold is not behind the decks, expect huge international stars like The Crystal Method, BT, Christopher Lawerence, DJ Dan, Dave Guetta and more.
Shows start at 10pm and go til at least 4 (usually later). The cover is usually $40 and you can buy your tickets ahead of time here.
