It seems like only yesterday that Planet Hollywood and The Opium Group opened the doors to this new Las Vegas hot spot. Now only a year later, Prive has given us a plethora of great parties hosted by an endless spectrum of celebrity hosts. From football great Warren Moon to the world’s most famous back-up dancer Kevin Federline, Prive has an allure no species of celebrity can resist. (Being located in Planet Hollywood helps too, you know, ‘cause of the Hollywood part.)

Warren Moon and K-Fed were just my favorites, but in the last year they’ve had quite the impressive list of hosts: Slick Rick, Juliette Lewis, Nas, Lil’ Jon, Mickey Avalon, A Gaggle of Reality Star Rejects, Rampage Jackson, That Chubby Kid From Sapranos, etc., etc.

What better way to cap off a fantastic first year than having one of the all-time great MCs and professional party facilitator Snoop Dogg at the helm? Can you think of a better way? ‘Cause I would love to hear it. Every time Snoop comes to town there is an extra incentive to go out and get loose. (Even though he passed right by us on his last tour and I had to drive to Pahrump to see him.)

So go check out the party on Monday night (1/19/09), it’s guaranteed to be out of control. And a BIG congratulations to Prive’ for making it to the one-year mark. They say the first million is the hardest, well so is the first year for a club in Vegas. Congratulations and I’ll see you Monday night…
