Forget those midweek blues with a Wednesday happy hour that'll pull you out of the office and onto the dance floor. And who better to bring back the tradition, the DJs, and the dancing than one of the parties that started it all?

Born in the dot com days before 111 Minna had a legit sound system (it was just a gallery space at the time), Qoöl quickly grew on Minna Street from a cash box and a keg to an underground destination for the more unique Wednesday evening party scene. Removing itself from traditional clubbing cliches, Qoöl paraded the slogan "Qoöl is You" to encourage its fan base to come as they are - no glitz or glam required. Soon lines were wrapped around the block, Qoöl VIP cards sold on Craigslist, and thousands of guest DJs knocked out sets of techno, house, breaks, tech house and electro all year round.

Now after years of hiatus, Qoöl finally returns to downtown at Harlot this August to shake up Wednesdays once again. Bringing back the five hour post-work party, here's you chance to relive the magic - or experience it for the first time. Best of all? This party is free.
