Rock-N-Roll, Ink-N-Iron!
By: Tiff Reldon 06/02/09All aboard the Queen Mary June 5-7 for some serious rock and roll. The sixth annual Ink-N-Iron Tattoo & Kustom Culture Festival brings together 280 tattoo artists from 25 countries to tatt you up alongside a custom-car show and rocker extravaganza. Eagles Of Death Metal kick things off Friday, along with The Bronx, Civet, and The Slackers, while the legendary Sonics headline Saturday, and Sunday calls in Devil Doll. More than 25 bands will take the stage on the historic, haunted cruise ship, along with aerial showgirls, cabaret and burlesque performers, a pin-up pageant, outdoor movie screenings, and hopefully some ghosts with pompadours.
GetWize: One-day passes cost $35, but cough up $70 and make an overnight jaunt in Long Beach out of it - find tickets for Ink-N-Iron here. Get that Sonics commemorative tattoo of your dreams, and receive a $10 admission refund from Ink-N-Iron for doing it at the fest. The tatt doesn’t have to be Sonics to get the monies—but, come on, go for it!
