Rothbury Music Festival established its status as one of the best music festivals in the US in last year’s inaugural event. This year the festival is expanding the breath of talent and experiences for festival-goers. The Dead is making their only summer appearance of at Rothbury. Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, Phil Lesh and Bob Weir have a “little mind meld going” and faithful deadheads will be out in droves for this show. Bob Dylan and His Band, The String Cheese Incident, Willie Nelson & Family and The Black Crowes are all on top of the bill of this year’s line-up.

This year’s Rothbury Festival is packed with classic jam-bands like STS9, Gov’t Mule, Yonder Mountain String Band and The Disco Biscuits but it’s not denying the kids of all the musical flavor going around. Ani DiFranco, Cold War Kids, Broken Social Scene, Girl Talk and Chromeo will all hit the Rothbury stages this year. Check out the line-up for this year’s Rothbury Music Festival here. The four day festival promises expanded VIP experiences, new sustainability initiatives, art and adventures into modern thought and technology. This year the festival is broadening its GOOD LIFE VIP offerings. Using the festival’s site, fans can choose from a host of different sleeping/living options from beach front and forested environments to a selection of habitats including teepees and safari tents.

In honor of the festival’s commitment to create a sustainable event, Rothbury promises to implement even more cutting-edge green technologies this year and will explore the topic of the Green Economy in the festival’s Think Tank.
