Rothbury Music Festival, held on 4th of July weekend at the Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, Michigan announced this week that it would be selling two-day tickets to the festival at a reduced rate. For those of us who are entrenched in a full-time job and can't get away for the full four day festival, this announcement is literally music to our ears.

Festival producers also announced the headliner schedule this week so make our ticket choice a little easier. On Friday, July 3rd, The String Cheese Incident will take the stage for their only 2009 performance; The Dead in their only summer appearance will top the bill on Saturday, July 4th and Bob Dylan and His Band and Willie Nelson & Family will wrap up the weekend on Sunday, July 5th.

The second annual festival at the ranch will play host to 60+ bands and four days and nights of music. 2-Day Saturday and Sunday ticket-holders will be allowed into the campsites beginning at 8:00 am on Saturday and includes on-site camping and parking for Saturday and Sunday. The two-day ticket is recessionally priced at $149.50 but availability is limited. The ticket can be purchased here while supplies last.
