Gettin’ Winey at the Festival!

Escape L.A.— at least for a few hours, and join Southern California’s most awarded winery for their “Taste of the Americas” food and wine festival. The San Antonio Winery, a Los Angeles historical site, has been operated by the Riboli family since it opened in 1917, and is the last producing winery in our fine city. Courtesy of the Ribolis, Angeleno’s have to step no further than their own backyard to experience an afternoon of South American tastes. Enjoy Maddalena Riesling 2008 from Monterey California, Chilean Machas a la Parmesana (baked clams with parmesan sauce) and top it off with a heavenly treat like Serena papaya with lemon mousse for dessert.

Get Wize: “Taste of the Americas” Food and Wine Festival takes place on Sunday September 20 at the San Antonio Winery. 737 Lamar Street, Los Angeles, CA 90031. Drink, eat, and be merry from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event costs $50 per person.
