What’s up San Francisco? In case you haven’t noticed, some things have changed around here at MetroWize. Specifically the way we will report on events has morphed into the following “weekly heads up” article about where you should go this week and what you should be keeping your eye out for coming soon. Without further a do, let’s get you dialed in.

It’s a big week in the city by the bay this week and there is an event out there (or three) for everyone. If the DJ tip is your thing, you are in for a treat this week. Wednesday marks the return of The Crystal Method with what is sure to be a sick new live show @ The Regency.

Big events on Thursday (6/18) start the weekend off early. Daedelus with Ghislain Proirier are at Mighty courtesy of the forward thinking people behind Blasthaus, Torq welcomes Cosmic Gate over at Ruby Skye, Sly and Robbie w/ Heavy Weight Dub Champion are The Independent and Zap Mama hits Bimbo's for a night of funk and hip hop.

Friday, June 19th the heat turns up with LOW's one-year anniversary at Vessel featuring food from Bar Crudo and a hosted bar from 4:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m., Fred Everything @ Temple, Skream and Benga @ 103 Harriet, Fort Knox 5 @ Paradise Lounge, Andy Moor @ Ruby Skye, Ali Shaheed Muhamed with Ren The Vinyl Archeologist @ Mighty and the 8th anniversary Sisterz of the Underground @ Club Six.

The hits keep coming on Saturday with the Bicycle Music Festival at Dolores Park with a human-powered PA system, Green Velvet @ Mezzanine, Rennie Pilgrim headlining the Infuse: Summer Solstice event @ Mission Rock, Sean Tyas @ 1015 Folsom and the big annual White Party at Ruby Skye.
