The Western Addition welcomes a new addition to its neighborhood offering of restaurants: the Acme Burgerhaus. Situated just a few steps from the relatively new district, coined “Nopa” (as in North of the Panhandle), Acme is just a few days old and is already stirring up talk for some of its more economical offerings (see GetWize below).
Acme’s menu is pretty basic: a general selection of chicken, beef, buffalo, and lamb burgers that are custom-made with your choice of ingredients mixed in the pre-grilling process. Sample ingredients include pine nuts, feta, Gorgonzola, sumac and even a mixture of the kind of meats you want in the burger. The less meatily inclined can choose from nearly 30 ingredients at the mostly organic salad bar.
Feel free to check your emails or read some online celeb gossip while enjoying your lunch at Acme- there’s free Wi-Fi during the afternoon. Also of interest: this burger joint is open until 12am on the weekdays (Monday through Thursday) and until 3am on the weekend (Friday and Saturday). What's up late night eats?
