Summer Stage in Central Park is a well aged tradition of popular artists from around the world giving free concerts in the park. This year Summer Stage is at it again, this weekend Q-Tip and Chester French are on the line up, in true international form the beginning of August boasts CineFest-Brasil, and Boys Noize will be hitting the stage on August 8th. With up to four events happening each weekend Summer Stage is sure to have something for everyone, and the best part is it’s all free!

GetWize: Wondering how to get a good view of the stage? Get there early! Even though many of the concerts don’t start until 7:00 p.m., people lounge in the park all day long waiting for them to start, if you don’t get there early chances are the park will be packed. Also, make sure to bring a bevy of beverages and snacks for the hot summer nights because finding food after sunset in the park can be a challenge.
