It's a little known fact that the Standard Hotel in downtown Los Angeles is the place to go for the greatest pool top view of DTLA. Adding to the pool's notoriety are rooms decorated in an ultra contemporary fashion -- think a giant black foot in the middle of the bathroom as a stool -- but they still maintain that feel of luxury. Given the rise of DTLA night life, the Standard is one of those must visit places in LA.
