The Parlor
The Parlor: SF's New Upscale Whiskey Den

In the early 1900s, the parlor was the place where socialites received their guests and eager men's palms sweated as they attempted chaperoned conversation with their intended beau. While those traditions have long passed, the newly opened Parlor at Fisherman's Wharf embodies old-world style. Gone are the tourist trappings that drip off every part of the iconic San Francisco destination. Instead you find a cross between a whiskey den, a saloon and a speakeasy, complete with antique chandeliers, a well-worn floor and a walnut stained bar that's perfect for sipping a glass of wine, beer, or one of their delicious and creative cocktails. We like "The Rare Parlor Manhattan", made of Eagle Rare 10 yr Bourbon, Antica Carpano Sweet Vermouth and Fee Brothers Whiskey Bitters or the "Kiss Of Death" made of Svedka Vodka, St Germain Elderflower Liqueur, Yellow Chartreuse, Strawberries and Lemon Juice.

The Parlor offers more than just cocktail conversation. As night enters, guests can dance to some of the city's best DJs, or those with big bank accounts can opt for Bottle Service (to sign up click here) in one of their private VIP booths with Flat Screen TV's. Patrons have the choice of two different spaces each offering a unique experience. The Whiskey Room celebrates all things whiskey with old barrels and other whiskey paraphernalia, while The Library caters to pseudo-intellectuals who mix books and a game of pool alongside their cocktail. There's something for everyone at The Parlor, so come by and visit the newest member of our eclectic city nightlife.
