San Francisco has had its fair share of master chefs enter the 'Top Chef' competition on Bravo TV and it's no surprise that many of them have made it into the finals. This weekend at Scala's Bistro, Jennifer Biesty (executive chef of Scala's Bistro and Season 4 contestant) and Stephanie Izard (Season 4 winner) will partner up to present a five-course menu of food that exhibits the culinary skills that landed them on the show. Scala's Bistro features dishes from Northern Italy and Southern France in a comfortable yet elegant setting adjacent to the Sir Frances Drake Hotel in Union Square. The special five-course meal will be this Sunday, May 31st and seating will begin at 6:00 p.m.
GetWize: The five-course Top Chef menu is a sly $65 for dinner and $35 for the wine pairing. We've got inside scoop on the first four courses of the menu - check it out below and cue mouth-water. Reservations can be made by calling Scala's Bistro at 415.395.8555.
