DJ crew Trouble & Bass are traveling around the States supporting their club-ready, bass-beating Scion CD Sampler V.25. Collective members Drop The Lime, AC Slater, Star Eyes, and The Captain arrive in attendance for the group’s L.A. stop. “We Are The Future” proclaim the youngsters on the sampler’s opening jam, composed by Drop The Lime—and it may be true. Trouble & Bass entered the scene to advance club music’s next wave through a musical landscape reminiscent of basketball game anthems, combining techno, dubstep, house, and each other’s partied-out mind jacks. Keep an eye on this crew and record label closing its grip on 2009’s afterdark sound.
