Remember what life was like 3 years ago? MySpace was still the king of the social networks, our baseball and football teams weren't worth a damn, the Gav ruled our fair city and we were introduced to a new standard in nightlife with the opening of Infusion Lounge. This weekend, the most expensive club ever to open in SF turns 3 with another over the top event that only they could throw.

After creating a new partnership with Goldenvoice and a move back to the Los Angeles State Historic Park, FYF Fest 2011 is ready to send summer off with a bang. A great lineup that includes the Descendents, Death From Above 1979, Explosions in the Sky, Cold War Kids, a ton of comedians and like 40 food trucks makes this a local fest worth taking a look at for Labor Day Weekend.

After a hiatus in 2010, the infamous parade and dance party known as Lovevolution (or Love Parade or Love Festival if you are oldschoolers) is back in 2011. Sure, it's a different location in a different city but the vibe appears to be alive and well. With headliners like Glitch Mob and Plump DJ's and an afterparty with Moby, Laidback Luke and Markus Schulz, believe it that the Love is reborn.
