Inspired by the members-only oft-attended-by-royalty club in London, Annabel’s, and Stanley Kubrick’s psycho-erotic thriller, Eyes Wide Shut, the hottest new club to grace 7969 Santa Monica Boulevard is already turning people on—and away.

With a décor reminiscent of its inspirations—think old-fashioned gentlemen’s club meets sumptuous orgy—those lucky, or famous, enough to pass through the exposed brick entrance hallway lounge under dim lighting in green leather Chesterfield sofas and antique chairs. Hors d’ oeuvres, such as salmon and cucumber tea sandwiches or prime beef sliders, can be washed down with shots possessing such comingling of flavors as watermelon jalapeno, blueberry mint, and cucumber olive. Svelte performers—mostly female and nearly naked—titillate guests with their impromptu bondage and S&M acts and the contortions of their bodies as they hang from a net suspended over the lounge, rendering each and every one a voyeur for the evening.

The 6000-square-foot venue also boasts a dance floor with a dj booth, behind which sits a VIP room, equip with its own bar. Such Hollywood stars as Jack Osbourne and Gerard Butler have reportedly already passed through. While the club claims to have a maximum capacity of 650, much like it’s counterpart in London, it’s still super exclusive: Arrive early and look hot!
