Mark Franz and Parke Ulrich’ renowned restaurant, Waterbar, has been a big hit since it came to the San Francisco restaurant scene. As chef and owner, Franz and Ulrich have maintained a menu which is constantly changing in order to highlight only the best seafood offered. Located on the Embarcadero, near the Bay Bridge, the restaurant brings in all walks of life by offering versatile food and great deals.

One of the best deals is Waterbar’s $1 local oysters offered everyday from 11:30 to 6pm. If you are looking for something more substantial for dinner, the Down-the-line Dinner Prixfixe is available Sunday through Thursday evenings for $40. This three-course dinner, including the Chef’s choice with options, can be paired with a red or white house bottle of wine for an additional $20.
