A new BBQ joint called Wexler’s opened its doors in San Francisco’s Financial District on June 12. The modern style restaurant features the good ol’ American BBQ flavors that we all know and love with a Northern California twist. Matt Wexler, owner of Wexler’s, explains that the restaurant unites various regional barbecue traditions from the south while adding a pinch of modern city flavor. Located at 568 Sacramento St, Wexler’s lunch menu includes a Smoked Lobster Club Sandwich and an American classic, Sloppy Joe. For dinner, Wexler’s offers dishes such Dry Rub Crusted Scallops and the head chef’s favorite, Smoked Short Ribs. Wexler’s full bar provides southern enthused cocktails that compliment the smoky barbecue essence of the kitchen.
