When you're walking along the Embarcadero, it can be tough to satisfy your art, wine, and gourmet snacking needs all at once. At least till now. Welcome Wine & Wall - part gallery, part wine shop, and part gourmet cafe. A new venture by the fine folks behind One Market Restaurant, this quaint space is decked out in bold green walls, a rotating exhibit of hand-selected art, and - of course - plenty of wine.

Guests are free to perfect their palate with a tasting dispenser offering a selection of eight rare and/or limited production wines by the ounce, half-glass, or full glass. And for those wary of Embarcadero prices, full glasses will start at a mere $4 to $5. The menu relies on a small sampling from the One Market kitchen next door. Order up cheese, a gourmet candy plate, or small plates paired to the wine you've selected.

While the website may not be fully fleshed out just yet (they only just opened on June 18th), you can view their starting menu here (PDF) to get those taste buds tingling.
Check out a recent review of Wine & Wall on Yelp:
"The decor and ambiance is simple but inviting. The wine list offers a nice variety and is expected to grow. The prices are extremely reasonable. In addition to tastes they also offer wines for purchase at a discount. We picked up a bottle of Granacha for $10. The managing partners were very genuine and friendly. A great spot to visit and have a glass of wine after work!" - Mimi T.
