As one of the most sophisticated nightclubs in the world, XS provides an elegant and passionate club environment that surrounds Encore's sparkling pool. The new club comes as a follow-up to the collaboration between Steve Wynn and Las Vegas nightclub impresario Victor Drai, who together created Tryst.
The club is inspired by the sexy curves of the human body and decorated in rich gold, black, bronze and browns. There are more than 10,000 individual sources that illuminate light throughout the club. Dance poles designed to look like lanterns and chandeliers are spread throughout. Mirrored mosaics, gold crocodile embossed leather, Kinon laminates, black Galazy mosaics, brushed brass and gold resin bar tops collaborate to form a rich, sexy nightclub environment.
As guests make their way through the space, each focal element is unveiled.
The mesmerizing, gold leaf body forms draw guests into the club. Once at the top of the entrance stairs, their eyes are drawn to the illuminated outdoor pool and island bar, highlighted by a ten foot rotating chandelier. To the left and right sides of the room, concave gold leaf female torsos also make a bold statement.
With over 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space, guests have the opportunity to sit at one of the 95 indoor VIP tables or enjoy their bottle service poolside in one of the 30 VIP cabanas. The indoor tables surround the circular dance floor and two large sliding glass doors open up to bring the night air sky inside. Unlike any other nightclub on the Las Vegas Strip, poolside lounge tables also allow for complimentary seating.
Signature only to XS, the "Ono" cocktail features Charles Heidsieck Champagne Charlie 1981 and Louis XIII de Remy Martin Black Pearl cognac.
Men's sterling silver cufflinks embossed with stingray and the raised XS logo and a woman's 18K white gold chain with a black pearl pendant and XS logo are also included with the purchase of the $10,000 cocktail.
A nightclub would not be complete without music, and DJ Create spins a variety of house and Top 40 Fridays through Mondays. David Fogg, known as DJ Create, serves as music director for both XS and Tryst and has worked in the Las Vegas music industry for the past eight years.
Table reservations (702-770-5350) are highly recommended. XS is the place to be for Vegas locals on Monday nights-free admission with Nevada identification-and the cover for visitors is $20 for ladies and $30 for gentleman. Open Friday through Monday from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m., XS is located on The Esplanade at Encore.
